Michelle Sumner, Pre-Press Manager

Michelle Sumner

Pre-Press Manager

With fine arts as her first love Michelle pursued college to become that famous painter. It wasn't until a guest speaker was introduced as a graphic designer that she began to take interest in what seemed a new and exciting field. After exploring her options she soon became a print graphics major.

Entering the graphic design field at this time allowed her to learn along with the speed of technology, and to have a full understanding of the new changes and techniques that were happening in the industry.

Michelle began her career at Shweiki Media as the in-house designer for Study Breaks Magazine.

As a designer working for a printing company Michelle learned very quickly it was one thing to make your design look great on screen and another to make it print beautifully on press.

After completing her degree Michelle transitioned from Study Breaks designer to the Shweiki Media prepress department.

As a pre-press specialist Michelle takes great satisfaction in knowing that should any client of ours run into difficulties, not only can she identify the problem but she has the full knowledge to speak in a language they understand.
