4/4 uses all four print colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black to blend together for a full-color print front and back.

For 4/1, the front is printed in the 4 color process as in 4/4 printing but the back is only printed using 1 spot color. Black is the most typical on a 4/1 print.

Perfect binding is available for publications with 52 pages and greater. The perfect binding process utilizes a durable adhesive to hold the pages together. The result is a completely even (flat back) edge on the outside. Perfect binding is a durable, beautiful, professional way to finish your booklet, magazine or catalog.

Saddle Stitching is most effective for binding publications with 64 pages or less. Books with more pages may become bulky when folded and not lay as flat as desired when Saddle Stitched. The saddle-stitch method uses wire staples to secure folded sheets of paper. Publications that are commonly Saddle Stitched include programs, wall calendars, booklets, newsletters, pamphlets, direct mailers, comic books, magazines and catalogs.
