Shweiki is excited to announce that they will be serving as the print sponsor for 20/20 Productions’ annual DC Web & Digital Media Festival.
The festival, which takes place in the nation’s capital on September 19th and 20th, will serve as a congregation of the country’s industry thought leaders and will feature topics all over the digital media board, from web series to robotics to gaming and more.
This is the second year that DC’s premier digital media company, 20/20 Productions, has put on this event, and it’s already expanded tremendously from the inaugural year, which was solely focused on web series. This September, the festival will include a summit, award ceremony and even digitally-interactive art exhibits.
The festival will begin with a red carpet event on the evening of the 19th, for which the featured scientists, artists and panelists will be present, and digital creations available for viwing and interaction. The following day will include panels and keynote speeches by notable guests like featured speakers Justine Aitel, the head of cyber risk at the Dow Jones, and Gregg Deal, a DC-based performance artist who created The Last American Indian on Earth. Meanwhile, other featured topics will include insight into and ideas about the future of the industry, and the festival will conclude with an awards ceremony.
