/
best way to make a media kit

In this webinar Ryan Dohrn, CEO of Brain Swell Media explains his Online Strategies to improve a company’s Media Kit. Bad Media Kits are too long, too broad, not online and not focused for what todays advertisers and agencies actually want, so read below to find out how to make a GREAT Media Kit!

 MEDIA KITS:

  • Need to be simple and brief! (3-6 pages)

People do not want to read a lot, they want to get the gist of the information immediately

  • Have a lot of visuals and vibrant colors

Repetition is important, so use visuals that represent the data provided.

  • Have a Data Sheet with 10 essential pieces of data

It also would be a good idea to have interchangeable Data Sheets specific to the client. For example, less visuals and more numeric data for lawyers, specific data for restaurant owners etc.

  • Should be online

Don’t worry about competitors accessing prices, if they want to they will find a way anyway. If the Media Kit is online, it’s easy for the customer to IMMEDIATELY access the information. Prompt downloading the media kit with lead information collection.
