Time Management Tips

The first habit to implement is to avoid random patterns in the way one chooses to finish a common task. If one hasn’t defined a way of completing a task, they are “randomizing” the time/process it takes to complete the project. When one sits down and writes out basically minute-by-minute what they’re doing for an entire day, often they’ll find there were a lot of tasks being duplicated and a lot of time that should have been spent doing other tasks.

Using a CRM tool is a must for those looking for those in sales who are looking for maximum efficiency. Experts say that we forget 20-35% of the things that are important to us. Using a CRM well ensures that even if one forgets an important task, they can easily be notified and reminded.
Furthermore, a quality CRM will manage call-back lists and activity store client data, monitor total sales and pending sales, and track contracts—saving one the time and effort of having to do it themselves.

Use a TO-DO List App

A to-do app is a great way for one to continue practicing time management, even when they’re away from their desktop with its reminder tools. Few people travel far without their smartphone, and with a to-do app, one can set reminders on their phone to keep them on track with their schedule.

Create a Process

It’s important to take the time to figure out a schedule and processes that allow one to work as efficiently as possible. Whether it’s handling sales leads or getting things done around the house, processes encourage one to finish their work faster, patch any problems in the way one is doing a task, and complete projects more efficiently.

Take More Breaks

Experts say that one of the secrets to success is taking breaks, and that is a must-implement strategy for a savvy time manager. A walk around the block is a great way to give one’s brain a rest and return to the office rested, rejuvenated and often inspired.
